About FTI

The Flatline Thinking Institute (FTI) of Alternative Interpretation and Observations  was formally chartered in July, 2009.  Born as a legal compromise between our State Attorney General and the  heretofore known cheap-assed Board of Directors over a legal matter, the Institute is populated with a staff  of questionable mental capacity and overall abilities.   Our primary duty is to offer policy analysis, event commentary, and recount observations as generated by the same staff that mental health professionals have identified as Weirdos, Whackos, and Misfits.  As restitution on behalf of some indiscretions a few of our members committed, we have agreed to perform this community service for an undetermined amount of time at no cost.

Unlike most other blogs, our goal is not to become famous or make money doing this stuff.  We publish no ads,  money-making redirects, or  cute cat pictures.   We don't do long-list answers to blog surveys,  offer bribes to follow our site, write insightful poetry/haiku pieces or attempt to curry favor to other blogs with pseudo awards.  We don't follow 45 other blogs religiously, either.  (Believe it or not, we have a life and this place isn't it.)  We've tried to follow some, but, the ones we follow always demand that we stop for fear of embarrassment.    The few that we  do follow would be aghast if they knew we read them. We don't use Twitter or have a Facebook fan page as our secondary goal is to accomplish the tasks described above and remain  as low key as possible to avoid any further ridicule and scorn.

If you have a subject and want our near-award winning team to analyze it for you, let us know.  Feel free to send me an email and I will begin the task of assigning the most lucid affiliate at the moment to produce some type of research, analysis, and deep interpretation that would pass any legal challenges made to a minimum standard.

In closing, I, as Executive Director, merely attempt to interpret the resulting material into some type of cogent message while maintaining some shred of personal dignity and in no way endorse, advance, or agree with most of the things posted here.
